If you are unable to discover your beacon using the RadBeacon Config App, unplug the RadBeacon, wait 5 seconds, and plug it back in.This feature is a security precaution to limit the possibility of third party manipulation of your beacons once they have been installed and configured. After this 30 minutes period elapses, the beacon will no longer be connectable from other Bluetooth 4.0 devices without restarting that window. Beacons are only initially configurable for a period of 30 minutes after they are powered. RadBeacon Dot is a fully standalone Bluetooth Smart proximity beacon using iBeacon, AltBeacon and Eddystone technology, implemented in a lightweight package that is powered by a battery.It is highly recommended that you make a priority changing the PIN for your RadBeacon device. As with previous versions, the default PIN is all zeros, or '00000000'.
With version 3.2.3 we are introduced stronger eight (8) digit PINs. For firmware versions prior to version 3.2.3, configuration of beacons requires a four (4) digit PIN.
